Very little effort is required on the part of the software developer, or customer, to send SMS messages as our SMS gateway is designed to receive structured data in the form of e-mail or XML. Any messages sent by the customer to the target e-mail address or via the XML web service would be checked against an authorisation database to see if the person sending the e-mail or issuing the request by XML has the required authority to send the message. Once received our server’s process the messages, validate account details, translate the messages automatically and send the messages out directly. Time critical messages, like timely notifications and appointment reminders, can be scheduled, to be sent from our servers, automatically.

Any customer wishing to use the service would be able to do so instantly by logging on to our secure website and purchasing messages online. Traditional payment methods such as cheques, direct debits and BACS are also supported. Customers could also be offered a “Trial Account” so that they can investigate Text Messaging without any significant capital outlay or commitment.

4Productions provide all billing services and revenue collection from the customers. A full report will be sent to the customer’s chosen e-mail address. This report will be sent on a monthly basis and will detail all messages sent, who from, who to, date received, date sent, the message sent and the number messages remaining. All reports will be in PDF format.

No de-activation or account cancellation procedures are required if the customer no longer wishes to use the service as the account is effectively inactive, if the account is not in credit.

Each customer will be provided with Helpdesk support and our normal business hours are 08:30 – 18:00 on normal business working days.
